Adnan Gopinadhan, PhD

Adnan Gopinadhan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the UCSF VASC lab. He completed his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology with a focus on blood-brain barrier biology and the development of cerebral malaria. He has extensive expertise with two-dimensional blood-brain barrier culture models of human disease. He is now using this expertise to design new stem-cell derived models of the human cerebrovasculature and its diseases. Outside the lab, he enjoys hiking in the Bay Area, driving nice cars, and creative baking.
